Don't keep clicking things if they don't respond
Article
If you try to open a file or program and it doesn't respond immediately, don't keep clicking on it, as this will only make the response time even slower, because the processor, memory, or network connection is already struggling to cope with the instructions you've already sent and sending even more instructions will only serve to overload the hardware.
If the file you are trying to open is located on a remote server, i.e., one that's not actually located in your office, then this will usually take a few seconds longer to open, because it has to travel a longer distance, so please try to be patient.
